Welcome to the Taverna del Capitano, a family run restaurant serving delicious local cuisine in the heart of the beautiful village of Vernazza since 1966.
With a view of the sea, you may enjoy the traditional dishes of the Cinque Terre region, including fresh seafood prepared in a variety of styles. Some of our specialties are baked fish, stuffed mussels, anchovies marinated in lemon and the customary dish “Tian Vernazza”.
Other offerings include stuffed vegetables, classic Genovese pesto with pasta, homemade desserts, a vast wine selection and much more. We use the finest local products.
